Removal Procedure

Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement (LTG) and Engine Front Cover Replacement (LKW) .
Remove the upper timing chain guide bolts (2, 3).

Remove the upper timing chain guide (1).
Timing Chain Tensioner Bolt (1)»Remove [2x]

Timing Chain Tensioner (2)»Remove
Timing Chain Tensioner Gasket (3)»Remove and DISCARD
Remove the timing chain tensioner pivot arm bolt (1).

Remove the timing chain tensioner pivot arm (2).
Remove the timing chain guide bolts (1).

Remove the timing chain guide (2).
Remove the timing chain (1).

Remove the timing chain oil nozzle (1).
