Installation Procedure

  1. Install the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve (1).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve bolt (2) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  3. Install the 3 NEW turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hose clamps (2, 4, 6) onto the 3 turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hoses (1, 3, 7).
  4. Install the 3 turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hoses (1, 3, 7) to the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve (5).
  5. Tighten the 3 NEW turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hose clamps (2, 4, 6) to secure the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hoses (1, 3, 7) to the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve (5).
  6. Connect the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve wiring harness plug (8) to the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve (5).
