Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON, verify that the DIC compass does not display "C" or "CAL".
- If the DIC compass displays "C" or "CAL" and Compass Calibration and Magnetic Variance (Driver Information Center (DIC)) has not been performed
  Perform the Compass Calibration and Magnetic Variance procedure. Refer to Compass Calibration and Magnetic Variance (Driver Information Center (DIC)) .
- If the DIC compass displays "C" or "CAL" and Compass Calibration and Magnetic Variance (Driver Information Center (DIC)) has been performed
  Replace the IPC.
- If the DIC compass does not display "C" or "CAL"
Verify that the DIC compass display is not blank.
- If the DIC compass display is blank
  Replace the IPC.
- If the DIC compass display is not blank
All OK.
