WARNING: When a lift gate hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Preliminary Procedure Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
1	Rear Compartment Lid Bolt [4x] CAUTION: Fastener Caution Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft) NOTE: A second technician is required.
2	Rear Compartment Lid Procedure Transfer components as necessary. Rear Compartment Lid» Adjust - Clearance and Flushness Specifications

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Tighten
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
