Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:

For vehicles with RPO AVF, ensure that the Body Control Module and Instrument Cluster have been programmed with the latest calibrations before proceeding with Circuit/System Verification and Circuit/System Testing.

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. NOTE:

The scan tool Instrument Cluster Ambient Air Temperature parameter is a buffered value when the measured temperature is increasing. Performing the Ambient Air Temperature Instant Update with the scan tool may be necessary to force the Ambient Air Temperature parameter to update to the current measured temperature.

  3. Verify the scan tool Instrument Cluster Ambient Air Temperature parameter is between -40°C (-40°F) and +88°C (+190°F) and changes with air temperature changes.
    • If not between -40°C (-40°F) and +88°C (+190°F) or changes with air temperature changes

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If between -40°C (-40°F) and +88°C (+190°F) and changes with air temperature changes
  4. All OK.
