Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
1	Rear Shock Absorber Bolt. WARNING: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Warning . CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Support the rear axle with a suitable jack stand. Remove and DISCARD the bolt. DO NOT re-use, replace with NEW only. Support the rear end of the rear axle with a suitable jack stand and raise the rear axle to the proper D Height. Refer to Trim Height Inspection . Tighten the rear shock absorber lower bolt.. Tighten First Pass: 150 N.m (111 lb ft) Final Pass: additional 65 to 75 degrees.
2	Rear Shock Absorber Bolt (Qty: 2) Tighten 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
3	Rear Shock Absorber
4	Rear Shock Absorber Nut Procedure Using the CH-51095 wrench or equivalent, remove and install rear shock absorber nut. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft) Special Tools CH-51095 Shock Absorber Strut Wrench for equivalent regional tools, Refer to Special Tools .
5	Rear Shock Absorber Upper Mount
6	Rear Shock Absorber Upper Bumper
