CAUTION: Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Caution . Preliminary Procedure Apply a suitable tape around the front edge of the body side upper front applique to protect the paint.
1	Body Side Upper Front Applique Procedure Using a trim type release tool, disengage the forward clip from the body side outer panel. Gently pull the body side upper front applique away from the vehicle to disengage the 2 remaining clips. Upon installation, using the palm of the hand secure each retainer location until fully seated to the body side outer panel and front fender.

Procedure

Using a trim type release tool, disengage the forward clip from the body side outer panel.
Gently pull the body side upper front applique away from the vehicle to disengage the 2 remaining clips.
