Preliminary Procedure Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
1	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)
2	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Procedure Disconnect the release cable from the hood primary latch. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
