WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning . Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1	Driver or Passenger Seat Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Adjust the seat to the forward position to gain access to the rear bolts. Tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
2	Driver or Passenger Seat Assembly Procedure Disconnect the front seat electrical connector, and passenger presence system connector, if equipped. With the aid of an assistant remove the front seat, by tilting the seat forward, and then lifting and pulling the seat rearwards to disengage the 4 front foot hooks.
