Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1	Windshield Garnish Molding Assembly Procedure Disengage upper portion of windshield garnish molding by pulling down on molding where it meets the headliner until the tether clip unclips from itself, then reach in with fingers to unhook the tether strap from the body hinge pillar inner panel so the tether clip can be removed from the windshield garnish molding. Disconnect the electrical connector. The tether clip at the upper portion of the garnish molding MUST be replaced every time the windshield garnish molding is removed.

Procedure
