Open rear side door.

Rear Side Door Sill Trim Plate

Procedure

With a trim type release tool release the top 2 retainers first.
Then release the most forward retainer and then the 2 rearward retainers.
Grasp the rear side door sill trim plate at both ends and pull up and out to release the 4 bottom locator tabs.
