Open front side door.

Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate

Procedure

With a trim type release tool release the top 3 retainers first.
Then release the most forward retainer and then the 2 rearward retainers.
Grasp the front side door sill trim plate at both ends and pull up and out to release the 3 bottom locator tabs.
