Preliminary Procedure Open and support the hood assembly.
1	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut Cap NOTE: Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to release the finish cap from the wiper arm assembly.
2	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 35 N.m(26 lb ft)
3	Windshield Wiper Arm Procedure Use a suitable tool to pull the windshield wiper arm from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft. Remove the windshield wiper arm from the pivot shaft. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new windshield wiper arm.
