Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) and Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement (LKW) .
  3. Reposition the power brake booster vacuum rear pipe. Refer to Power Brake Booster Vacuum Rear Pipe Replacement (LKW) .
1 Heater Outlet Hose Retaining Clip (Qty: 2)
2 Heater Outlet Hose

Procedure

  1. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) and Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) .
  2. Inspect the cooling system for leaks.
