Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the evaporative emission front pipe. Refer to Evaporative Emission Front Pipe Replacement (LTG) .
    WARNING: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning .
    WARNING: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .
  2. Remove the evaporative emission pipe (1) from the retainers (2).

  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  4. Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe (1) and remove from retainers (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Remove the evaporative emission pipe (1) from the vehicle.
