Preliminary Procedure Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LKW) and Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LTG) .
1	Camshaft Position Sensor Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Camshaft Position Sensor Procedure Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the camshaft position sensor. Install a NEW seal if not replacing the sensor.

Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)

Camshaft Position Sensor

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the camshaft position sensor.
Install a NEW seal if not replacing the sensor.
