Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement . Separate the outer tie rod end from the knuckle. Refer to Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement . Separate control arm ball joint from steering knuckle. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
1	Steering Knuckle Nut (Qty: 2) WARNING: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Warning . CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Install NEW nuts. Do NOT reuse the old nuts. Use EN-45059 meter to apply torque. Tighten 90 N.m (66 lb ft) + 60-70 degrees Special Tools EN-45059 Angle Meter For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
2	Steering Knuckle Bolt (Qty: 2) Procedure Install NEW bolts. Do NOT reuse the old bolts.
