Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
1	Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Bolt (Qty: 2) WARNING: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fasteners could cause damage to the vehicle, component or bodily injury. CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Lower the Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Assembly. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement . Lower the front suspension frame assembly enough to gain access to the stabilizer shaft insulator bolts. Tighten First Pass: 22 N.m (16 lb ft). Final Pass: plus 40 degrees.
2	Front Stabilizer Shaft TIP: The stabilizer shaft insulator and the clamps are serviced with the stabilizer shaft. They are Not service separately.

Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .

Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Bolt (Qty: 2)

WARNING: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fasteners could cause damage to the vehicle, component or bodily injury.

CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Lower the Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Assembly. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement .
Lower the front suspension frame assembly enough to gain access to the stabilizer shaft insulator bolts.

Tighten

First Pass: 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
Final Pass: plus 40 degrees.

TIP: The stabilizer shaft insulator and the clamps are serviced with the stabilizer shaft. They are Not service separately.
