Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement (15 inch Brake System J67 and J93) and Front Brake Rotor Replacement (16 inch Brake System J60) .
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor screw (2).

  4. Remove the wheel speed sensor (1) from the steering knuckle.
  5. Remove the wheel drive shaft from the front wheel bearing/hub. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side , Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (without Intermediate Shaft) and Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (with Intermediate Shaft) .
  6. Remove the front wheel bearing/hub bolts (1).

  7. Remove the front wheel bearing/hub (1) and front brake shield (2) from the steering knuckle.
