Preliminary Procedure Remove the steering wheel inflatable restraint module. Refer to Airbag Steering Wheel Module Replacement .
1	Steering Wheel Spoke Lower Cover Procedure Use a trim tool in order to remove the steering wheel lower cover and the components covering the spokes of the steering wheel. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2	Radio and Telephone Control Switch Bolts (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: If the vehicle is not equipped with the radio and telephone control switch, remove the right spoke cover bolts. Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
3	Radio and Telephone Control Switch NOTE: If the vehicle is not equipped with the radio and telephone control switch, remove the right spoke cover.
4	Cruise Control Switch Bolts (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: If the vehicle is not equipped with the cruise control switch, remove the left spoke cover bolts. Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
5	Cruise Control Switch NOTE: If the vehicle is not equipped with the cruise control switch, remove the left spoke cover.
