Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  3. Remove the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement .
1 Air Conditioning Compressor Pressure Relief Valve Cap
2 Compressor Pressure Relief Valve
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
