Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  4. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose nut (1) from the refrigerant hose (2).

  5. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose nut (3) from the A/C condenser (4).
  6. Remove the A/C compressor and the condenser hose bolt (1) from the A/C compressor (2).

  7. Remove the air conditioning compressor and the condenser hose (3).
