Engine Control Module (ECM)

The ECM controls all turbocharger control functions. The ECM monitors information from various sensor inputs that include the following:
- Accelerator pedal position sensor.
- Engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
- Mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
- Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
- Vehicle speed sensor (VSS).
- Transmission gear position or range information sensors.
