Installation Procedure

  1. Install the piston (3) and the spring (4).

  2. Install the oil pressure relief valve assembly (2).
  3. Install the oil pressure relief valve closure bolt (1) and tighten to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement (Manual Transmission)  and Oil Pan Replacement (Automatic Transmission) .
