Timing Belt Rear Cover Installation

  1. Re-cut the 4 rear timing belt cover threads in the cylinder head and the 4 timing belt rear cover bolt threads.
  2. Install the timing belt rear cover (1).

  3. Install the 4 timing belt rear cover bolts (2) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
    NOTE: Apply thread lock agent to the bolts.
