Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. If necessary, remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement (1.8L LUW and LWE) .
  2. Remove the closure bolt (1).

  3. Clean the thread.
