Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Unclip the engine control module bracket and hang the engine control module aside.
  3. Remove the depression tube (1) from the exhaust gas recirculation valve actuator (2) and hang aside.

  4. Use a suitable tool to unclip the exhaust gas recirculation valve actuator lever (3) from the exhaust gas recirculation valve cooler lever (4) (see arrow in picture).
  5. Turn the exhaust gas recirculation valve actuator (1) counterclockwise in order to unlock from bracket (2).

  6. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve actuator (1) in direction of the bulked.
