Installation Procedure

Position the emission reduction fluid tank reservoir (1, 5) into the emission reduction fluid tank thread (4).

Install the NEW emission reduction fluid tank pump module seal (2) into the emission reduction fluid tank thread (1).

The arrow shows to the location at which the emission reduction fluid tank lower part should be rotated for install.

Turn the emission reduction fluid tank reservoir lower part about 2 cm (0.787 in), in the arrow direction (3).

NOTE: The arrow (3) shows the installation direction for the emission reduction fluid tank reservoir lower part (2).
Install the emission reduction fluid tank reservoir upper part (6) into the emission reduction fluid tank pump module seal (4).
Install the emission reduction fluid tank pump module ring (1) to the emission reduction fluid tank thread (5).
Tighten the emission reduction fluid tank pump module ring (1) to 90 N.m (66 lb ft), using the CH-38879-B wrench.
CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
Install the emission reduction fluid supply pump module. Refer to Emission Reduction Fluid Supply Pump Module Replacement .
Install the emission reduction fluid tank insulator - upper. Refer to Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Insulator Replacement - Upper .
