Removal Procedure

- Before performing the first steps, review the Emission Reduction Fluid and Emission Reduction Fluid Handling .
- Remove the emission reduction fluid tank insulator - upper. Refer to Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Insulator Replacement - Upper .
- Drain the emission reduction fluid tank. Refer to Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Draining .
- Disconnect the emission reduction fluid pump module wiring harness plug from the body wiring harness (3).
- Disconnect the emission reduction fluid pipe wiring harness plug (2).
- Remove the emission reduction fluid exhaust front pipe injector supply pipe (3) from the emission reduction fluid supply pump module (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Cap the emission reduction fluid exhaust front pipe injector supply pipe (3) to prevent contamination and fluid loss.
- Disconnect the emission reduction vent pipe (5) from emission reduction fluid exhaust front pipe injector supply pipe.
- Remove the 3 emission reduction fluid tank bolts (1).
- Remove the emission reduction fluid tank (2).
- Place the emission reduction fluid tank upside down on a workbench.
- Remove the 2 emission reduction fluid tank insulator - lower fasteners (2) from the studs (3).
- Remove the emission reduction fluid tank insulator - lower (1) from the fluid tank (4).
