Diagnostic Aids

- A vacuum leak in any of the systems supplied by the vacuum pump, including the turbocharger vane position actuator, EGR cooler bypass valve actuator and brake booster, may cause the DTC to set.
- If any service has been performed on the turbocharger or turbocharger components, including any of the procedures listed below, a Turbocharger Learn must be performed. Failure to perform the Turbocharger Learn procedure may cause other DTCs to set:
- Turbocharger vane position control solenoid valve replacement
- ECM replacement
- Turbocharger replacement
- Any service that disturbs the turbocharger components
