Circuit/System Verification
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition On.
- Verify DTC P2080, P2084, P242B, P24D0 or U02A3 is not set
- If any of the DTCs are set
- If none of the DTCs are set
- Verify DTC P24C6 is not set.
- If the DTC sets
Replace the B136 Exhaust Particulate Matter Sensor.
- If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- Engine Off for 4 hours.NOTE: Open hood during 4 hour soak to dissipate heat from the EGT sensor 1.
- Ignition On, engine Off.
- Measure and record the scan tool Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1, 2 and 3 values.
- Engine running, verify the scan tool Start-Up Particulate Matter Sensor Temperature is within 50°C (90°F) of the previously recorded scan tool Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1, 2 and 3 values.
- If not within 50°C (90°F)
Replace the B136 Exhaust Particulate Matter Sensor.
- If within 50°C (90°F)
- If not within 50°C (90°F)
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Replace the B136 Exhaust Particulate Matter Sensor.
- If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
