Conditions for Running the DTC
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- DTC P0117, P0118, P011B, P01F0, P0128, P0403, P040C, P040D, P040F, P041C, P041D, P046C, P245A, P245B, P245C, P24A5 or P2228, is not set.
- Battery voltage is greater than 11 V.
- Engine speed is between 1, 000-3, 000 RPM.
- Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration is not active.
- Calculated fuel rate is between 5-60 mm3 .
- Engine coolant temperature is between 70-126°C (128-259°F).
- The difference between the upstream EGR cooler temperature and the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is at least 60°C (108°F).
- Ambient temperature is greater than -7°C (19°F).
- EGR cooler bypass valve duty cycle is less than 5% for greater than 10 s.
- EGR control is active.
- EGR valve position is between 5-100 %.
- Barometric pressure (BARO) is greater than 74.8 kPa (10.9 psi).
- DTC P2457 runs once per driving cycle when the above conditions are met for at least 120 s.
