Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify DTC P0117, P0118, P011B, P01F0, P0128, P0403, P040C, P040D, P040F, P041C P041D, P046C, P245A, P245B, P245C, P24A5 or P2228, is not set.
    • If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Engine running.
  4. Verify the EGR cooler bypass valve actuator linkage moves when commanding the EGR Cooler Bypass Valve ON and OFF with a scan tool.
    • If the linkage does not move 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing

    • If the linkage moves 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify a DTC does not set.
    • If a DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing

    • If a DTC does not set 
  7. All OK
