Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that DTC P0045, P0047, P0048, P0106, P0107, P0108, P2228, P2229, P227B, P227C or P227D is not set.
    • If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Verify the scan tool MAP Sensor parameter and the BARO Sensor 1 parameter are within 5 kPa (0.73 PSI).
    • If not within 5 kPa (0.73 PSI) 

      Refer to DTC P0106

    • If within 5 kPa (0.73 PSI) 
  4. Engine running, increase the engine speed to 2, 000 RPM. Command the Turbocharger Vane Position Solenoid Valve between 0-100 % with a scan tool.
  5. Verify the scan tool MAP Sensor parameter increases and decreases.
    • If the parameter does not increase and decrease 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the parameter increases and decreases 
  6. All OK.
