Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition On.
  2. Verify DTC UXXXX is not set.
    • If no DTC is set 
  3. Observe the scan tool Reductant Temperature parameter. The reading should be warmer than -55°C (-67°F) and colder than 160°C (320°F).
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the reductant temperature sensor.

    • If within the specified range 
  4. Observe the scan tool Fuel Temperature Sensor parameter. The reading should be warmer than -55°C (-67°F) and colder 160°C (320°F).
    • If within the specified range 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify a DTC does not set.
    • If any DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If no DTC sets 
  7. All OK.
