Circuit/System Testing

Verify the conditions listed below do not exist with the M98 Intake Manifold Runner Valve Actuator assembly:
- Disconnected or damaged linkage
- Linkage binding
- Interference with hoses, wiring or any other components
- If a condition exists
  Repair or replace the component as necessary.
- If a condition does not exist
Verify the conditions listed below do not exist with the intake manifold:
- Carbon build-up that limits or restricts the movement of the intake manifold runner control valve vanes.
- Casting flash that limits or restricts the movement of the intake manifold runner control valve vanes.
- Foreign material that limits or restricts the movement of the intake manifold runner control valve vanes.
- If a condition exists
  Repair or replace the intake manifold as necessary.
- If a condition does not exist
Replace the M98 Intake Manifold Runner Valve Actuator.
