Circuit/System Verification

Ignition On.
Verify DTC UXXX is not set.
- If a DTC is set
  Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for further diagnosis.
- If no DTC is set
Ignition On.
Verify the Particulate Matter Sensor Control Unit Communication Status parameter does not display Malfunction.
- If Malfunction is displayed
  Replace the B136 Particulate Matter Sensor
- If Malfunction is not displayed
Verify the Particulate Matter Sensor Identifier is greater than 0.
- If not greater than 0
  Replace the B136 Particulate Matter Sensor
- If greater than 0
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
