Conditions for Running the DTC
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition is OFF.
- Engine is in after-run.
- Offset learning for the intake air flow valve was successful in the previous driving cycle.
- Intake air flow valve blade is not being driven to a mechanical stop.
- Battery voltage is greater than 11 V for greater than 3 s.
- Starter is not cranking for greater than 3 s.
- Engine coolant temperature is less than 200°C (392°F).
- DTC P122D runs continuously when the above conditions are met.
OR
- Ignition is OFF.
- Engine is in afterun.
- Battery voltage is greater than 11 V
- Engine coolant temperature is between -30°C to +128°C (-22 to +262°F)
- Intake air flow valve is not frozen and the conditions listed below are met:
- Downstream charge air cooler temperature is greater than 6°C (43°F) for greater than 10 s.
OR
- Engine coolant temperature is greater than 6°C (43°F) for greater than 10 s.
- Downstream charge air cooler temperature is greater than 6°C (43°F) for greater than 10 s.
- DTC P122D runs continuously when the above conditions are met.
