Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition Off, disconnect the harness connector at the Q61 Emission Reduction Fluid Injector.
  2. Test for 10-14 Ω between the reductant dosing valve high control circuit terminal 2 and the reductant dosing valve low control circuit terminal 1 of the Q61 Emission Reduction Fluid Injector.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the Q61 Emission Reduction Fluid Injector.

    • If within the specified range 
  3. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the Q61 Emission Reduction Fluid Injector housing.
    NOTE: Touching the injector connector plastic housing during this test will create a false resistance reading on the DMM. Use terminal test leads to prevent false readings.
    • If not infinite resistance 

      Replace the Q61 Emission Reduction Fluid Injector.

    • Infinite resistance 
  4. All OK.
