Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition On.
  2. Verify no other DTCs are set.
    • If no other DTCs are set 
  3. Verify the scan tool Reductant Pump Control Circuit Status parameter OK or Not Run.
    • If OK or Not Run is not displayed 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If OK or Not Run is displayed 
  4. Verify the Reductant System Leak Test turns On when commanded On with a scan tool.
    NOTE: Exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor 2 must be less than 200°C (392°F) prior to running the Reductant System Leak Test.
    • If the Reductant System Leak Test does not turn on 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the Reductant System Leak Test does turn on 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC does not set 
  7. All OK.
