Conditions for Running the DTC

P0403

• The Ignition is OFF.
• The engine is in after-run.
• The battery voltage is greater than 11 V.
• The EGR valve offset learning procedure is complete.
• The starter is not cranking.
• The DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met.

OR

• The Ignition is ON.
• The battery voltage is greater than 11 V.
• The EGR control circuit is complete.
• The starter is not cranking.
• The DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met.

P0489, P0490, P1407, P140D, P140E and P140F

• The Ignition is ON.
• The battery voltage is greater than 11 V.
• The EGR control circuit is active.
• The starter is not cranking.
• The DTCs run continuously when the above conditions are met.
