Conditions for Running the DTC

P0340 and P0341

• DTCs P0016 or P0315 is not set.
• The ignition is ON.
• The engine is running between 600-850 RPM.
• The engine control module detects camshaft position sensor pulses.
• Crankshaft to camshaft synchronization is not complete.

The DTCs run continuously once the above conditions are met.
