Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor.
  2. Test for 700-800 Ω between the HI signal terminal 1 and the LO signal circuit terminal 2.
    • If not 700-800 Ω 

      Replace the B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor.

    • If 700-800 Ω 
  3. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the sensor body.
    • If less than infinitive resistance 

      Replace the B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor.

    • If infinitive resistance 
  4. Engine cranking, test for greater than 0.5 VAC between the HI signal circuit terminal 1 and the LO signal terminal 2.
    • If less than 0.5 VAC 

      Replace the B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor.

    • If greater than 0.5 VAC 
  5. All OK.
