Component Testing

Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor.
Test for 700-800 Ω between the HI signal terminal 1 and the LO signal circuit terminal 2.
- If not 700-800 Ω
  Replace the B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor.
- If 700-800 Ω
Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the sensor body.
- If less than infinitive resistance
  Replace the B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor.
- If infinitive resistance
Engine cranking, test for greater than 0.5 VAC between the HI signal circuit terminal 1 and the LO signal terminal 2.
- If less than 0.5 VAC
  Replace the B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor.
- If greater than 0.5 VAC
All OK.
