Circuit/System Verification

Ignition On. Verify DTC P02E7, P02E8 or P02E9 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
  Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- If none of the DTCs are set
Verify the scan tool Intake Air Flow Valve Position Sensor voltage is between 3.7-4.7 V and changes when commanding the Intake Air Flow Valve Motor between 0-100%.
- If not between 3.7-4.7 V or does not change
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing .
- If between 3.7-4.7 V and changes
Engine Idling. Verify the engine runs rough or stalls when commanding the Intake Air Flow Valve Motor to 70% with a scan tool.
- If the engine does not run rough or stall
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing .
- If the engine runs rough or stalls
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTCs. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify a DTC does not set.
- If a DTC sets
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- If none of the DTCs set
All OK.
