P0234 

The ECM detects a negative control deviation which is when the difference between desired and actual boost pressure is less than a negative calibrated threshold for greater than 10 s.

P0299 

The ECM detects a positive control deviation which is when the difference between desired and actual boost pressure is greater than a positive calibrated threshold for greater than 10 s.
