Engine running, increase the engine speed to 1, 500 RPM and maintain. Command the Turbocharger Vane Position Solenoid Valve ON and OFF with a scan tool, The MAP Sensor parameter should increase to 100-140 kPa (14.5-20.3 PSI) when the Turbocharger Vane Position Solenoid Valve is commanded ON and decrease to near 96 kPa (13.9 PSI) when commanded OFF.
