Static Test

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the Q41 Turbocharger Vane Position Control Solenoid Valve.
  2. Test for 5-20 Ω between the control circuit terminal 1 and the ignition circuit terminal 2 of the Q41 Turbocharger Vane Position Control Solenoid Valve.
    • If not between 5-20 Ω 

      Replace the Q41 Turbocharger Vane Position Control Solenoid Valve.

    • If between 5-20 Ω 
  3. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the Q41 Turbocharger Vane Position Control Solenoid Valve housing/case.
    • If not infinite resistance 

      Replace the Q41 Turbocharger Vane Position Control Solenoid Valve.

    • If infinite resistance 
  4. All OK
