Preliminary Procedures Remove the torque converter. Refer to Torque Converter Replacement . Special Tools EN-328-B remover EN-469-A remover/installer DT-674-A installer DT-6328 adapter For equivalent regional tools refer to Special Tools .
1	Torque Converter Fluid Seal CAUTION: Support the back side of the torque converter housing while installing the seal. Install the seal until it stops moving. Applying excessive pressure to the seal once it is seated could cause damage to the torque converter housing casting.

CAUTION: Support the back side of the torque converter housing while installing the seal. Install the seal until it stops moving. Applying excessive pressure to the seal once it is seated could cause damage to the torque converter housing casting.
