Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission range selector lever cable bracket (2).

  2. Install the 2 transmission range selector lever cable bracket bolts and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Press the locking tabs (2) inward (arrows) and clip in the transmission range selector lever cable to the bracket (3).

  4. Connect the range selector lever cable end terminal (1) to the range selector lever (4).
  5. Adjust the range selector lever cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
  6. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
