Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Set the park brake and chock the wheels.
  2. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the transmission range selector lever cable end terminal (1) from the transmission manual shift lever pin (4).

  4. Press the locking tabs (2) inward (arrows) and clip out the transmission range selector lever cable from the bracket (3).
  5. Remove the transmission range selector lever nut (1) and washer.

  6. Remove the transmission range selector lever (2).
